With digital now being the primary source for many audio enthusiasts, we created the RD-101 DAC to accompany the amps in our Reference Series. Taking advantage of the technology in our award winning SCD-025 Mk.II, our engineers have managed to squeeze the magic from that unit into a smaller chassis without compromising on quality.
The RD-101 utilises the incredible Sabre ES9028PRO 32-bit HyperStream II DAC chip. With up to 140dB DNR and -122dB THD+N for unmatched audio clarity, unprecedented dynamic range and ultra-low distortion.
Our ultra low noise power supply regulator offers a vast array of steps to support the DACs potential performance and with a true balanced, discrete bipolar analog stage using zero global feedback with ultra high bandwidth, the RD-101 is unparalleled at this price point.
Huge connectivity
Featuring 5 digital inputs and a dedicated RJ45 streamer input, all your digital sources are comfortably accommodated by the RD-101. The USB audio input supports NativeDSD up to 128 and PCM up to 384kHz / 32 bit resolution.
The streaming module supports the complete set of network audio protocols including DLNA/UPnP, Airplay and Spotify Connect.
Finishing
The RD-101 comes in Jet Black or Warm Silver as standard. Titanium Orange, Dark Champagne and Titanium Grey are our most popular unique finishes.
